Who We Are

The YIFC Academy for Education and Enrichment was founded in 2003 in Hong Kong by the Tamil speaking community, with the aim of uniting the Indian Youths through sports and other activities without compromising our Indian identity and values. YIFC Academy for Education and Enrichment – a registered non-profit organization, supporting the Indian community in general and our children in particular. Hong Kong being our home away from home, YIFC Academy for Education and Enrichment strives for better integration into the local society and to be an asset to the overall development of Hong Kong and to be a binding link between Hong Kong, China and our motherland India. Our major effort involves organizing sports, educational and recreational activities with a motive of Caring and Sharingk.

What We Do

Started as a sports club, we have grown as a community today organizing various activities and events. Our sports courses include Cricket, Badminton, Bowling, Beach Volley-ball, Soccer and Junior Sports. Our team’s victory in different sports events held in Hong Kong motivated us towards taking next steps as a community and work together.
Coming to our language development program, it was started in the year 2004 for our children. We realized its importance and the need for imparting the Tamil knowledge to our kids to hold close our identity. The significance of our mother tongue‚ as rightly said by a Tamil scholar‚ has always been felt only by people living abroad. As a community‚ setting aside our differences we came together to do justice to our children as well as to our mother tongue. We have conducted many programmes as a result of the TTP. The children came out with fabulous performances in each and every event and were very confident in using the language
